"Stop Custom Type" in parameter settings

What does it mean?

The description reads "Custom stop 0 Off, 1,2,3...as defined"

In the Volume Profile Breakout strategy, Custom Stop Type defaults to "1".

What does it mean? How do I define custom stops?
