FW: RE: NT7 had to close, PairsRSI, McClellanOscillator,PairsCorrelation

Hi,

I downloaded the most recent microtrend this morning and had to close my NT.
Sent trace file to NT and their response is below.
Is it your indicators causing the problem?

From your trace file, I am seeing the following error:

2011-01-14 09:01:28:875 ********* exception trapped *********
2011-01-14 09:01:28:875 An XML error has occurred.
2011-01-14 09:01:28:875 at NinjaTrader.Cbi.Deserializer.Deserialize()

This error is a result of a corrupt indicator or workspace. From earlier in your trace file, I am seeing repeated instances of these errors:
2011-01-14 07:48:58:234 ERROR: Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'McClellanOscillator': 'Add' method only accepts positive 'period' values, but was -1 Min
2011-01-14 07:48:58:234 ERROR: Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'Pairs': 'Add' method only accepts positive 'period' values, but was -1 Min
2011-01-14 07:48:58:234 ERROR: Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'PairsCorrelation': 'Add' method only accepts positive 'period' values, but was -1 Min
2011-01-14 07:48:58:234 ERROR: Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'PairsRatio': 'Add' method only accepts positive 'period' values, but was -1 Min
2011-01-14 07:48:58:234 ERROR: Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'PairsRSI': 'Add' method only accepts positive 'period' values, but was -1 Min
2011-01-14 07:48:58:234 ERROR: Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'Ratio': 'Add' method only accepts positive 'period' values, but was -1 Min

For the time being, I would suggest removing this indicators from your current workspace to avoid future issues. You will need to follow up with the developer of these indicators to have these errors resolved.

None of those problematic indicators are created by MicroTrends.
MicroTrends Products have the name in the indicators and strategies.

To diagnose you can always:
You can remove the McroTrends NinjaTrader Framework -
File > utilities > remove
MicroTrendsNinjaTraderFramework7
