relocating to 2nd home and different computer
Originally from ticket #1458.
Tony, I have a 2nd home where we spend the summer. I have separate
computers set up there for trading and other uses. I will be relocating to
that home on May 12 and want to remove the woodie bars collection and ninja
trader from my Florida home and load them onto the Virginia computer. (I do
not carry computers from house to house) What do I need to do??
Also while looking for my answer in the forum, I came across the following;
MicroTrends wishes to encourage new traders without asking them to pay out
for technologies that may take a considerable time to master before the
trader can really make a decision if they want that to purhcase that tool.
So Licenses will be for 2 machines
"Indicators and strategies will 100% free for testing and sim trading
Public betas are 100% free
Live trading is also 100% free for a limited trial period of 30 to 90 days.
"
03/09/2010
I could certainly use the 100% free limited trial period as I struggle to
learn the Woodies system and new software. I started subscribing and paid
on 03/29/2012. Woodie recommends that a new user spend at least 6 months
in simulated trading prior to starting live trading. The free trial would
be a huge help towards this endeavor.
For a second machine you simply send in your machineid to get it licensed. Then you would install the software on to the second machine.
Re:Free Trials
That refers to the Microtrends Ninjatrader Framework and Microtrends Products, in particulare Strategies.
The woodies colleciton is not a MicroTrends product, MicroTrends developed it for Woodie, you pay the Woodies CCI CLub for it not MicroTrends. Our role is to provide it to subscribers, deal with licenses and support on setup and the usage of supplied workspaces.
