News Indicator
you have the indicator on a chart 1 miunute ES
session template 24/7 or other

you are setup to filter on USA and high impact.
This should fire on any USA High Impact news and put a vertical red line on the chart
It will also put an entry in the NinjaTrader Alerts window
It does not provide any voice alerts

Check List:
Please check the Alert Window for an alert so you can see what the lines are related to on your chart - if any.
Please check that the chart session template allows that time to be displayed - eg Default 24/7 or US Equities ETH for example

PC...Please make sure your TimeZone is EST or CT and that your Language is US

Filter
It could be the filter has filtered out the news you were expecting - but it might still show up in the MT Squawk Box - pending news...
A good test would be open up a chart of 30minutes for 6 days lookback - default 24/7 session template
Then add the indicator - and look for the lines - you can reconcile them with the MT Squawk Box - pending news/ released news.

you can reset the indicator settings to this then add it to the chart > click apply.

IMPACTS
'high',
'medium',
'low'

Filter syntax
All countries and codes
Country in ('USD','JPY', 'EUR','GBP','CHF','AUD','CNY') and impact in ('high','medium','low')

Just USA and EU news of High, medium Impact
Country in ('USD','EUR') and impact in ('high','medium')

Just USA high Impact
Country ='USD' and impact ='high'

All countries and high impact codes
Country in ('USD','JPY', 'EUR','GBP','CHF','AUD','CNY') and impact = 'high'

All countries and high/medium impact codes
Country in ('USD','JPY', 'EUR','GBP','CHF','AUD','CNY') and impact = 'high' or impact ='medium'

You can copy and paste that into the parameter:
News Event Filter:
Country in ('USD','JPY', 'EUR','GBP','CHF','AUD','CNY') and impact = 'high' or impact ='medium'

You have the MTSquawk Box running in the background - i would think that is where the voice alerts are coming from
This not filtered and allows all news events for the defaulty setting to be shown on its news grids...
todays pending
todays released
weekly news
etc
In the options tab top right - you can control if it reads out the voice or not - you can set this off or on with checkboxes then clicking apply
