Problems getting SquawkBox 1.0.1.21 run

Originally from ticket #2823.

Dear Sirs,

my OS is window7 64 without MS-Office package.
After downloading and installing it does not show me any Todays
depending news, Todays released news, weekly view. The tabs
ForexFactory.com, DailyFX.com shows their pages.

The alert tab shows:

The open current trace button under the log tab get me this message :

The open log button and open log directory does not do anything.

Please get me an idea why it is not working out of the box and what I
should install or configurate to get around this problem.

hi this would be something to do with language and OS support for the MS OLEDB drivers and unfortunately the only way we know around this is to use US or UK based OS.
it looks as if yours is in a non US or EN based OS language.

This has been noted for a future release - but we have no time scale for when that is.
