need ground level information please

I am a new trader who owns a lifetime ninja trader license. I have done a little trading, but as you might guess, I need help. I would like to have a simple strategy or strategy's that I can practice with in simulation. I also would like to understand something about the different instruments and which strategys to apply.

Are there some questions you might ask to help me get gong?

There are many to chose from, i would suggest starting with something like the MT MA Double Crossover or the MT Open Range strategies
Try them on 15min, 30min, range 10 on most futures contracts to see what happens and to learn the parameteres and settings.
