NT Framework 7 - scalper strategues
Pinned FeaturedOriginally from ticket #2076.
Hi
I have been backtesting your NT Framework 7 strategies on NinjaTrader 7.
I have had almost no success with any of the strategies (except one - ExtremesBOLL), which makes me wonder of I am doing something wrong.
On some of the strategies, I get no results (i.e. zero trades) at all (e.g. MT Scalp).
I am using minute data going back one year on the EURUSD for backtesting.
Is it possible to provide me with the default parameters that I have to set for each strategy to point me in the right direction. e.g. the Scalper has a range value - what is the best range to use? (my raw data has no range field, how is range calculated by the way?)
I will be more than happy to purchase your products if I can have a little more success with my backtesting.
I look forward to your reply.
kind regards

Hi
There are some common properties in all signals indicators which will control the Trade Setup type and and Trade Entry Price confirmations.
Please see:
https://microtrends.zendesk.com/entries/21008258-scalper-indicator-and-other-indicators-documentation
Simply use the indicator to being with and set:
Trade Setup=1
And see the results, you will then find this in the strategy too.
