strategy performance
Originally from ticket #2416.
Hi Support,
2 questions for clarify for me please:
1) am i supposed to be using the "real time w/ historical" option (together
for standard purposes) instead of separate "historical" or "real time" when
doing stategy performance changes, correct?
2) over the weekend I looked at strategy performance made a change and then
restored it ...now the #'s are not the same...
Question: is it possible for the strategy performance to change results
even after restoring the original #'s back into the parameters...wierd
original # results changed by $1,000 nmegative even after i plugged the
original #'s back in ..now i cant correct it to original brilliant
#'s...wierd?
(I may have to look at Back up files to restore #'s, but I was pretty
careful when i made the adjustment just to see how much it would
change/improve, or in this case dissolve the performance which i relied
upon as my best auto strategy...
Regards, Duke
1.
if you want to view historical only - chose historical
if you want realtyime only - chose realtime
if you want both combined chose historical and Realtime
2.
check MT Zone Setting =0
Try reloading the Strategy on a new chart using the defauly settings
make sure you know what chart settings you used, session template, dataseires etc.
Data- Try downloading the data again
Save a default setting as your favourite for a strategy
save a workspace containing the charts, with the dataseries. instrument all correct as you want.
Add the strategy...
Save the workspace
close and restart NT reload the workspace irt will be the same
if the robo stats look different - right click the chart and hit f5 or reload NT scripts
You can always re-add the strategy and it will reuse the same settings
