Potential Strategy use, support & purchase

I'm not new to trading but am a recent new user to NinjaTrader. As such my primary purpose to integrating NT into my trading is to auto trade. Since I am new to NT I don't know if every automated strategy I use on NT will need to be optimized/backtested, etc. Obviously I will want to test it for a bit going forward but will the strategy's success depend partially on optimizing, data speed, etc., or will it come useable out of the box? Also, "is out of the box" something downloaded or via a CDROM in the mail?

Also, are you all "for hire" to create strategies? I have looked on the net and see where there are options; just wondering about you at the moment.
