The Strategy is based on a Signals indicator.
Internally the algo mode uses the bollinger and keltner and momentum which we are told is the same basis as the one used by elsewhere - the similarity ends there - it is many times more powerful and flexible - there are many others modes within it- momentum, price confirmations and various filters.

So you would first of all learn how to use the Signals Indicator - MT Signals Breakout Squeeze - by itself on a chart.
