MT Installation cannot install workspaces and templates
1 Everything was fine until I imported the WorkspacesTemplates.zip when I got the following message:
Import failed. 'C:\Documents and Settings\Karl.Main\My Documents\MicroTrends\NinjaTrade 7\MTNTF7\7.0.0.40\WorkspacesTemlates.zip' is likely corrupt and can't be imported: Cannot find central directory.
I downloaded the file again and went through the whole process including deleting all of the previous files and most of my other indis and templates but the same message greeted me!! Can you suggest where I may be going wrong.

I am sorry you are struggling with the install.
You will need to upgrade to NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.4 the lastest version and to install the MicroTrends NinjaTrader Framework for that version which is now a proper installation pacakge which you can download from:
http://www.micro-trends.co.uk/ninjatrader-downloads/You do not need to install anything else the framework setup program has a guide which tells you about the templates and workspaces.
The templates, workspaces and settings are autoamiatcally installed by the setup program.Please follow the current guide and ignore any other previous techniques.
