There is a file which references an indicator contained in this assembly. You must remove this dependency before removing this assembly

This relates to the latest issue of the banner appearing on the charts - anti hacking notice.
When I tried to remove the MT Ninja Trader Framwork7 in NT7 Control Center, There is a error: There is a file which references an indicator contained in this assembly. You must remove this dependency before reo=moving this assembly -- what does this mean? I tried saving the workspace and closing all the open charts. Stilll got this error.
[11:03:24 PM] Richard NG Joo Beng: In between all these, a menu appear saying a certain windows component was missing. Not sure it this is important. The screen gave me 2 options, search online for solution or just tell windows that the installtion was ok.
This means you have used the MicroTrends NinjaTrader Framework 7 (MTNTF7) in one of your custom indicators or strategies.
You will need to remov the indicator/startegy first - before you can remove the MTNTF7

Sorry, how do we remove the indicator / strategy ? Move it from the directory to some temporary directory ... ?

To Delete You use control center > Tools > Edit Indicator > Select Indicator > Delete You use control center > Tools > Edit Strategy > Select Strategy > Delete
To remove without deleting: Browse to the folders
My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Strategy\ My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Indicator\
#1 Select the file and move to another location. #2 remove the imported NinjaScript assembly #3 import the new NinjaScript assembly #4 Move the file back intot the folders
Advanced alternative: Import the new assembly over the top of the existing one... can lead to other errors....not recommended. You would need to start NT with no charts viewable, no hidden workspaces. Jsut a blank workspace Then import over the top. Restart
