How to install NinjaTrader and the MicroTrends NinjaTrader Framework
Originally from ticket #1282.
I have just downloaded (several times) ninja trader from http://www.micro-trends.co.uk/ninjatrader-downloads. At first I get a control panel with MT in the header, but now window's menu to import scripts from. In other words, it is not a functional control panel apparently. Now, when I click on the control panel icon in the windows menu bar, now control panel even appears. I have removed the application and re-installed, with the same non-function MT NT control panel, then disappearance of the control panel all together. I do have an account with Canon Trading, and Transact futures, if that would help to enable using MTNT in log on, please advise.
I would attach a screenshot, but it would now require going through the whole reinstall or re-boot process to bring up the introductory MTNT control panel. Since I don't have a functional control panel, the question is: how to I get one? Thanks for your help. I have not used ninja trader before, only Transact and Sierra Charts in recent history. Totally superior to esignal which I used in distant past.

Step 1
You will need to download and install the NinjaTrader trade platform and setup a realtime datatrail as descrbed at:

Step 2
Then after you have received and followed the installation instructions and support provided by NinjaTrader and PFGBest for the datafeed you have the option of downloadin, installing and importing some MicroTrends technology into the NinjaTrader Trade Platform

The MT Control Panel is documented in the online help guides and is not a trading platform or used for importing scripts - it serves no prupose unless you have followed Step1 and then Step 2
