MicroTrends Framework Update Reasons

Put Simply
The MTNTF7 is going to be updated
1. It is huge and even if you want to use jsut 1 component you install 1 large file containing all - mnay indicators, many strategies - so it is being updated to be installable in small bite size chunks for what you chose - ie a core strategy engine - algo framework SDK only - or that plus all the parts made from it...
2. It is having some features trimmed off that are not popular - that will not affect any strategy coded/derived from its SDK
3. It is having a new engine internally to avoid NT overfills errors halting strategies
4. it will have a smaller footprint on your PC
5. it will have an automatic installer - not the current 2 step process

None of these features will change the way you code with it - from the next version 7.0.1.48 which is in beta..
that allows you to use several layers or base class to expose off the shelf functionality such as Signals price action filters or jsut plain vanilla goLong, goShort - all of them expose the base functionality - MT Easy Trader UI - Position Sizing, Trade MAnagement etc

Updates are included in the product and will be automatic popup notifications to tell you when an update is ready to install in 1 click and restart.

1. A SDK with sample code will be made available - so your task of creating a strategy is simply using a sample strategy and saving it as a different name...
2. Also for paying subscribers priority support, code snippet support etc
