Zone Setting ID - Saving and loading your own settings for MTNTF7 Indicators and strategies
PinnedMTNTF7: Zone Setting ID - Saving and loading your own settings
Pre-Requisites
MicroTrends NinjaTrader Framework 7 indicators and strategies allows you to save many user defined settings, stored as a number and user friendly name - via the MT Zone Setting ID - a numeric parameter part of the MT signals Interface to uniquely identify a local setting. Some are presets deployed during installation - other settings are user defined, saved and later loaded at runtime by the Numeric ID. So it is possible to load 1 or many indicator clones with different parameter sets or simply to load a series of different indicators all with their own specific settings instead of the defaults - which can also be loaded
Tips!
When you are using an indicator and wish to edit and use/apply your settings please make sure you set "MT Zone Setting ID="0 otherwise the settings will be overwritten when the setting is loaded.
