virus in download - incorrect report due to overzealous AV programs
Originally from ticket #2983.
When I try to download your MicroTrends NinjaTrader Framework from your website, my anti-virus software gives a very strong warning that it is potentially dangerous software and that it has detected virus and spyware in the download file and that I should not continue. Any insight as to why?

Hi
Some people find that - as the AV is over zealous and not correct - but better to flag it from their perspective as they simply cannot know. You would need to ignore it to install. Some others get this from time to time. We have code signed the assemblies. They contain dlls and some .cs files for NinjaTrader usage - which AV programs can mistake for nasty scripts etc...
Even i the author have to tell IE that that it's ok let me install it... :-)

You can chose to ignore and install or not install it is your decision. We cannot change the way NT works or our installer - so we cannot get around the way the AV works etc..
many thanks
Tom.
