How to resolve this NinjaScript error message
Please check and advise
Hi Brandon,
Thanks for the steps...
Please see the attached image
Following your steps I could identify that the NinjaScript errors are caused by MTDoubleShotStrategyFoundation-Setup
I had installed this .EXE file a day or two ago and from then on NinjaTrader has become very very sluggish.
I uninstalled this .exe using CCleaner tool as "Remove" NinjaTrader indicator is showing this NinjaScript error
http://screencast.com/t/Qw5QoDCzI
After uninstalling this .EXE it is not visible in the indicator list or strategy list but the NinjaScript error is not resolved.
So I again installed, uninstalled, restarted and On and On... did this 4 or 5 times ... wasted few hours on this...
but still on compiling... it still points to the error related to mtsdoubleshotstrategyfoundation.dll
Hopefully one of you would provide me with a solution to resolve this issue.

Hello,
Thanks for writing in.
Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader always compiles all indicators and strategies - not just one. This is done to give you the highest runtime performance possible.
Open NinjaTrader
From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator
Select any indicator and double click on it (we need only to open and compile one script to see all compile errors for all files).
A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators.
At the bottom of the window a new section will appear where you can find the error locations.
From there you have the option to comment out offending code sections, remove the complete indicator or debug it to be able to compile again.
If you are unsure as to what the error is indicating, please send me a screenshot of the error with the name and description fields clearly readable.
To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.
Click here for instructions (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-snipping-tool-capture-screen-shots#1TC=windows-8)
Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Hi
Please re-install the MTDS so that all the files are there...
https://microtrends.zendesk.com/entries/81497979-MTDS-New-User-Orientation
Follow the instructions to re-install.
Then if you wish to remove do so via the Windows control Panel
or via the Windows Menu > Start > All Programs > MicroTrends DoubleShot Foundation > Change, Uninstall or Repair MicroTrends DoubleShot Foundation
If you are using a custom strategies you have installed/created - that use the MTDS you need to remove these also...
For compile errors please follow the NinjaTrader Advice and present the details
many thanks
Tom
