trail stop trigger calculation mode
Originally from ticket #3521.
hello support
MTDS has 4 settings for trail stop trigger calculation mode, the settings for target 1 and 2 is meant : for example when my target 1 is 50 and target 2 is 100 ticks then the trail stop will be that amount of ticks for my stop as well
and with the trailing stop calculation mode multiplier i can set it for example 0.5 would mean target 1 becomes 25 and target 2 becomes 50
With ATR and PCRA is meant the readings on the timeframe the strategy is set up for ?
let me know
john
The "Trail stop trigger calculation mode" allows you methods to define your ticks or let it autocalculate - based on atr, and your targets
example
if you target 1 is 50
then you can set the trail trigger to be the same as that value - increased or decreased by the multiplier.
