USAR filter modes

Hello--

I am using an MTDS strategy and am interested in applying the USAR trade filter. The parameters state that mode 1 is "USAR Bias". Can you tell me what modes 2, 4, and 8 represent? There is no description of them in the strategy box. See attached screenshot.

What I am trying to do is filter my trades to enter only in the direction of the USAR up / down arrows... is this possible?

Please enlarge the area of the description panel using the mouse so you can read the full description.
That is the same for all parameters for indicators or strategy -you can use the mouse and enlarge that area to view all the writing.
Hover the mouse over the top margin of the description panel - below the grid -in between both- when the mouse pointer changes to signify the horizontal line you can then click and drag the boundary - larger or smaller -as a rule this normally applies to all windows applications and forms in NinjaTrader 7 etc

1Usar Bias - is up or down with the trend of the USAR - arrows show where this occurs
It is best to use the USAR on its own as an indicator on a chart and experiment then you can use that knowledge in the strategy etc

To use the USAR Filter - select it in the "Trade Filter Rules Group"
1. Trade Filter Mode = 32

As of MTDS up to 7.0.1.19
USAR Filter Mode - Flags 1 to 512, Integers 1 to 1023.1:USAR BIAS,2:USAR Reversal within USAR Filter Lookback,4:USAR ATR Median Slope Bias,8:Price Above/Below USAR ATR,16:USAR ATR MEdian Crossover/Reject,32:USAR ATR SignalLine Crossover/Reject,64:Price Above/Below USAR Signal,128:UASR ATR Median crossed above/below USAR Signal Line256:UASR ATR Median Above/Below USAR Signal Line.512:USAR Signal Line Slope....

BITWISE -Means you can Add Flags together for Example - USAR Bias with ATRMedian Rejection/Crossover = 1 +8 =9

MTDS Experimentation
You would need to experiment with a simply strategy such as the "MTDS SDK Price Action Strategy" and then when you understand the trade entry you can experiment with other filters - or use a strategy or your choice but being simple. turn off all the advanced settings and use the basics first etc
Alter a parameter one at a time via the Ninja Buddy Settings Panel - Click the "::" menu to see a list of settings you can change during trading and then restart
